President Oscar Arias of Costa Rica and Preside Ricardo Martinelli of Panama met on southern zone Airport again yesterday.

Panama supported the airport project in southern zone and infact had spoke of the possibility of jointly funding the project.

“We Already have the ground, but we want to explore the possibility of an airport to help tourism in Costa Rica and in Panama,” said Minister Rodrigo Arias while leaving the meeting with two representatives in the Presidential House.

Oscar Arias has only nine months of his term left and surely wants to take advantage of this good relationship with Panama to accomplish a good venture while in office.

“A large airport, such as in Liberia, it is important to develop the whole border area,” added the Minister.

During their two hour meeting, they spoke of the development of a free zone in the common border and strengthening of cooperation projects as well.

The beuatiful areas of the Costa Rica southern zone with benefit greatly form such a venture. The Real Estate opportunities will enormous, but employment, health care facilities and much more which are needed will also be benefactors as well.

Many time you research all you can and still are not sure if the areas that sound good are right for you.

The next move is to come to Costa Rica, tour around and try to gain as much feel for the areas as you can. Great if you have the time and money to spend on this. You still cannot be sure as you rely on the word of someone trying to seeing Real Estate for his living or a tour company that really does not understand the Retirees total considerations and needs.

Costa Rica Retirement areas can include up to 50 places to consider. The truth is, there are only a few that match-up properly to satisfy you lifestyle needs after the warm cuddly new experience wears off.

There are many types of new lifestyles that we dream of in retirement. We cannot forget the comfort aspect we need as well. One will be poorly served to follow your dream of living in a remote area for the sake of nature and privacy when in reality,it all gets old after a while if things are uncomfortable.

Here is an example of an area that can be right for a lot of people. Read on and you will see why. The area is remote, pretty, mountainous, friendly people, good climate ( a little hot), and much more.

Here is an example of an area that matches up well for Costa Rica retirement location.

Given the increasing commercial development in Perz Zeledon, the need for more space had became obvious.  It therefore, has extended it’s growth and development to areas of Palmares.

The growth there has increased dramatically in recent years, with the creation of shopping malls,  supermarkets, large warehouses and all sorts of stores and  banks making it unnecessary to come to downtown Perez Zeledón for service.  A nice little Pueblo and a nice benefit is the cost of living is held intact.

Being located on Inter-American Highway makes it an ideal place for a development because it is a crossing point for travelers who go to the  border with Panama and other countries. The palmares area until a few years ago was a rural place where the  principal activity was the agriculture and the cattle farming. All of this has changed. The land that was used for this activity i snow being used for industrial and development.

This has made Perez Zeledon into a small capital for the south region of our country, where you can do almost everything with out having to travel to San Jose. Thanks to the extension of trade and to the all the big companies such as the  Coca Cola, Dos Pinos , La Cerveceria and Codesur have located their  companies in the area of the Palmares.  All of these contribute to make palmares an serious growth area.

We will be happy to arrange a Lifestyle Property Tour to help identify your best retirement location that matches your lifestyle, personal and budget needs.
